These are important questions which may often leave us perplexed or unsure what to do.

Does the Bible provide us with answers? Yes, though not perhaps as we would expect, for the Bible in general lays down principles on guidance so that we might make perceptive choices based upon good priorities. Here Ray Trainer works through five of these biblical principles, which are both revealed and applied by Paul in 1 Corinthians 8–10 and Philippians 1. In addition, there are five short case studies which can be used individually or in small groups in order to apply these principles to different areas of everyday life.
