NIV Gospel of John

John was originally written for a thinking audience, and tells the story of Jesus in a quite different way to the other gospels. He centres on a number of 'signs' that Jesus performed, and the gospel is notable for its extended reporting of personal encounters with Jesus.

Some of the best known verses from the Bible come from John - including John 3:16 - the most famous summary of the gospel message. These features make it an excellent choice for giving away to those who are thinking about the Christian faith, or wanting to learn more about Jesus.
